Holding is poor but there are many moorings available. Shallow anchorage with about 2 meters of water at the head of the jetty at low tide. North East to North winds can make this anchorage very uncomfortable. The RSAYS has two moorings marked by red and yellow buoys they are at approx:

New modern facility. Excellent shelter in all conditions and from all directions. Hot showers, clean toilets. It’s a 15 minute walk to the town. A popular destination for boats from Adelaide. The attractive town has good facilities and there is a bus service to Adelaide. After rounding the Surveyor Point beacon continue on a Westerly course until you can pick up the leading lights.– Oct 2011
