Functions and Catering Facilities
Steeped in history and tradition, the Royal South Australian Yacht Squadron is a perfect venue for weddings, birthdays, luncheons, dinners, cocktail parties or conferences. The two-storey Clubhouse sits in a unique setting with lawn areas and wonderful views of the marina.
For your function needs our professional staff are available to assist you with every step of your planning, from the themes and decorations to organising the table configuration and your personal menus. Our Executive Chef is committed to developing the ideal menu for your function, supported by our staff who are dedicated to the delivery of customer service.
Our Dining Room caters for small intimate groups through to larger functions for up to 180 seated guests, with a wonderful balcony area for pre-dinner drinks, and a dance floor where you can dance the night away. Platters for boating functions and special opening hours can be arranged for large groups.
Our picturesque grounds also offer a number of options to hold a wedding ceremony. Our Marina Lawn area is fantastic for that sunny afternoon, or the Quarterdeck overlooking the marina has a great ambience. The Club is available 7 days a week for these occasions. Barbecue Areas
We have two main barbecue areas that are available for members’ use 24 hours a day. Both areas have gas barbecue tables with covered seating areas, and are often used by members holding family events. Members wishing to utilise these facilities are asked to contact the Squadron Office for bookings on:

Toilets and Showers
The Clubhouse toilet and shower facilities on the ground floor are able to be accessed 24 hours a day. The Clubhouse facilities are accessible for people with disabilities on the ground floor and by a lift to the first floor.
